Republicans are advancing two harmful anti-abortion bills meant to mislead college students seeking abortion care and divert federal funding away from vulnerable children and families to support sham, anti-abortion counseling centers known as “crisis pregnancy centers.”

Ayanna is setting the record straight: Abortion care is a health care and a fundamental human right. Republicans claim their bills are meant to help pregnant people. But if they truly cared, they’d pass the Women’s Health Protection Act and Abortion Justice Act to guarantee the right to an abortion. Anything less is a disgrace.
